Winner Announcement!

BOOM!

And so after this week of many guesses and probably some head scratching, this game has finally come to a close. The total number of entries was 70.

Presented below is a table showing the ranking of each entrant, with number 1 being the winner.

Yes, yes, to the more math-sy people, that's the absolute difference! I just shortened it to keep the column size from getting too huge. :stare:

So well done to :iconbatespada: ! Even before and after the update, you remained the person closest to guessing the correct number.

The correct number being:

264

To the others, do not despair as I will be giving out more opportunities to get requests like this. You'll notice I don't just hand them out, but rather create entire events out of them, which I feel makes things a lot more interesting instead of the usual "first come first serve" jive. Otherwise, thank you very much for participating, and don't give up!

But wait! What about those clues?

I'm sure that some of you will have noticed there were things in the journal that showed there were more than just those 2 clues that were conveniently listed. I've had a request to explain things once things were over, and so here we go!

:bulletgreen: In the journal, the following characters were made bold, other than the titles: h, 1, 4, 1, 3 . The h has the main purpose of alerting people that bold characters should be taken note of.
:bulletgreen: 1413 cannot be the answer as the listed clue shows that the range is between 0 - 1000 .
:bulletgreen: In the update, in the column graph, the letters R I Y N B A were hidden inside the columns .  This is clearly an anagram for BINARY.
:bulletgreen: Binary can only be comprised of 1's and 0's. The number given was 1 4 1 3 . There are 1's but no 0's. Therefore the 4 means four 0's, and 3 means three 0's, giving a final result of: 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0.
:bulletgreen: 1 0 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 is binary for 264, the answer number. This can be checked easily using the Windows calculator in programmer mode.
:bulletgreen: Putting the "h" back in gives you h264, a number you'll definitely come across when downloading and watching videos on the internet. People who would have come this far will be assumed to realise this and understand the answer they got is not just coincidence. This is further established by the fact I posted the graph, showing the range between 200-300 was the second least popular choice.

I tried to keep these clues clear enough to give a fair level of puzzle solving to those who attempted, and also vague enough to present a fair chance to the others; as this was meant to be a guessing game from the start, not something catered towards people who have eagle eyes and know binary.

And that's that!

This game has come to a close

- There will be more -

Yeaaaah! :dummy: It's that time again! Free $#@%!

Except this time I'm only offering one request spot because I already have a few in my backlog already. What does that mean? It means even if you do score this spot, it's going to be quite the while before I get to it!

The Simple Game

Because everyone loves games

It is simple. I have randomly chosen a number and you are to guess it. The closest guess gets the spot.

Clues

:bulletblue: Between 0 - 1000.
:bulletblue: Is an integer (it does not have decimal places).

You may guess as many times as you want, but only your latest guess will count. So you can say it 4 times but that won't mean you're getting it any correcter!

Update

So far the stats of what you guys have been choosing are shown below.

By 9:00 AM 24 July 2013 (GMT), only one person has gotten remotely close to the correct number.

At this point, this could be more of a puzzle game than a guessing one! Or maybe it has been since the beginning? Woo! :iconranranruuplz:

What does it mean? Up to you to decide, ahahaha! Remember you're always allowed to make a new choice, but only your latest one will count.

What I Won't Do

I realise that some of you are new to the request scene, so I will say it again so that you don't enter and become a disappointed winner:

I will not do requests of the following:

  :bulletred: Porn, gore, fetish art.
:bulletred: Anything that's not a single 1 human girl.
  :bulletred: Intricate backgrounds.

If you didn't get it already, I'm basically only willing to draw innocent pictures of girls posed casually in front of a simple background.

And that makes this event number 3! Happy guessing!
